2025 was a good year. Finally tried out Balatro and am still trying to stop; Clair Obscur was the best RPG in years; And some new games, like Bananza and Air Riders, made their way into my favorites. And of course, my old favorites are still solidly on my list.

decided to record full 4K quality stream VODS in OBS instead of relying on downloading from Twitch.
216GB for a 4 hour stream... not sure I dialed in my settings properly, but hey, quality's gonna be great.

Finally got around to visualizing the data from last night's Boom or Doom ranking of the DK/Rare characters. So, here they are in order of Boom Factor™, which is based partially on the boom-to-doom ratio and partially on absolute boom value.

I'd always heard Donkey Kong '94 was one of the best games on the Gameboy, but never actually had a chance to play it until now. Great game, and a good sendoff for pre-DKC Donkey Kong.
