SO in the wake of the Furry Book Bundle and Furry Book month I decided to actually sit down and READ some of these books, and just by accident (or the fact that it starts alphabetically with "A") I began with @raynarde.bsky.social's lovely, elegiac novel. 1/6

Finally finished Winterfall by @laurenrivers.bsky.social! Took me a while (Silksong and Hades 2 coming out back to back didn't help) but this book turned out to be a really fun post-apocalyptic romp! Really fun gearhead book considering a bunch of the pagespace

Officially about half way through @laurenrivers.bsky.social's Winterfall and enjoying myself a lot! Harrowing post-apoc story, invested in the characters and setting. Not sure how they're getting out of this but I'm eager to see where it goes

(He counts because he started life as a gnoll bard in a D&D campaign even though he has since graduated into a character in a book)

With the release of Watchman of Heaven, the full cast is here!

Deva would've preferred to stay in his mountain and continue learning, but he couldn't ignore Carver and Legato as they were chased through his territory. He acts like a curmudgeon, but get him talking and he cracks open like an egg.

On Feb 8th, I am going to begin releasing a new version Heat Without Light on itch.io! It will be a new, illustrated version, expanded and re-edited, and it will be released in five parts over the course of the next year!
