So it turns out, my poll was not at all helpful. I guess I'll have to go to both or neither. 🤣

Bluesky now has over 10 million users, and I was #146,995!

Welcome to all the new users! I hope your experience here is less toxic and genuinely more social and kind than on the former bird app.

Kicking off #nyctechweek at @FenwickWest for @a16z podcast. Be sure to say hi if you're in the building! If not, let me know what events you're attending this week. Lots to discuss in the ecosystem! #blackintech #womenintech #nyctech #tech

Some people have dogs that are defacto alarm clocks. Mine, on the other hand, does not believe waking up before noon is necessary.

Happy New Year!!! I over zealously bought a pack of sparklers from Walmart that I have yet to open. Perhaps we'll go out and light them today? I do plan on putting the 2024 sparklers on my cornbread tonight.

Totally forgot to share my September books here. Sharing today even though it’s not #tweadingtuesday because I might forget again! "The Women of Brewster Place" was my favorite of this bunch. But it was intense! Needed LIGHT & fun after reading it. #readersky #books #booksky #booksofbluesky

Sharing the 5 books I read this month even though it's not #tweadingtuesday. "One Summer in Savannah" was my favorite of this bunch. I've also been practicing what I sometimes preach to clients - reading just for fun & not for work! #summerreading #books #summer #summer2023

Don't forget the "promoted tweets"! 🙄 But if someone else owned the platform & it was a non-profit, I'm sure there would be lots of donations. I'd prefer that over this ANY day!

Today was a PERFECT day to take my college friend and her family to Cafe Panna! It was delicious!

Here’s the books I’ve read this year January - July. Not pictured is “Call Us What We Carry” by Amanda Gordon which I finished last week. I love reading & am so glad I got my reading mojo back this year! #nationalbookloversday #booksky #readersofbluesky #books #reader

That "charge your phone" notification is kind of like the gas warning light coming on next to the "E" in the car.

I know exactly how much longer I can use this phone. I have loads of time, 14% is practically a full battery! Watch me go down to 3% & plug her in just in the nick of time! 🤣

Today isn’t #Mondog but it is my girl’s 5th birthday! Thought I’d share a picture of the birthday girl in her little birthday dress.

The circled text describes, in short summary, what happened. Why we're all talking about this is because it took the Bluesky Team 3 days to respond publicly to something explicitly racist on this platform & the response isn't acceptable given the length of time they were silent. Trust is broken.

Feels like an appropriate time to recommend Imani Perry’s phenomenal book, “South to America” which was the best book I read in 2022. It also won the National Book Award. In my opinion, this should be required reading for everyone!

I wonder if it's iOS or selected Premium users? Here's my Android version. Mine doesn't show what year I started or any of the other fun stuff yours is showing.

Good morning from NYC! It's already steamy. Stay cool out here folks!

Morning from a (still, but less) hazy, hot and humid NYC.

Mornin' skeeps! Busy day on deck so I'm out, but y'all make it a great one.
