It says a lot about the times we live in that I saw this headline today and immediately assumed it was about Immigration Control and not the weather. It is, in fact, a story about the weather.

If anyone wants alternatives to Goodreads, I highly recommend walking out into the fields where the beehives sit in the hot sun, and telling the bees about what your reading, which characters you love, what book still haunts you all these years later. 📚 🐝

I teach English to immigrants & this week in class we read an article about Happiness then came up with a list of things we can do to feel happier and that list is what’s getting me through right now: Learn something new. Drink coffee with your partner in the morning. Play soccer with friends.
