When I first marked exam papers standardisation involved travelling to London staying in a hotel, a nice lunch etc. With the advent of online marking it’s just me on teams but I always pre-prepare lunch and get a lunch nap. Makes the day less tiring. The boys like to join in… #teacherlife

Spent £3 on this toddler step in the clearance section in Morrisons so Buddy can practice his paws on and balance at home and he thinks I’m the best thing ever. Dogs are brilliant.

Today we scattered mum’s ashes on Appley beach. Buddy Asher favourite furry grand dog wore a tie. It was good to include her in our Xmas.

Buddy’s Xmas party was brilliant, but got Whamagaddened. Oh well at least I can watch the documentary now and 21st is my best ever score.

The visibility to Portsmouth was unusually clear this afternoon. Could see the Wightlink ferry and gunwharf really clearly. Lovely to be out in the fresh sea air.

It’s been a relaxed Christmas for us and we’ve enjoyed it…. At the end of the day it’s a time for family whatever that looks like for you.
