From my current experience at work, we are using a lot of prompting but really only creating small snippets instead of whole repos, and there is still decent element of traditional coding or at least adjusting what llms throw at us. I see similar future which is hybrid of both approaches

I agree! As much as I don’t doubt the capability of AI to solution and push hundreds of lines of code, it needs human oversight every time and also I can’t see prompting and tuning the prompt to get desired response without human intervention.
