Those caretakers aren't all as nice as they seem; some love teasing the pokes while they're stuck in daycare waiting for their trainers to pick them back up... A bet was confidently made and easily lost...
"Sure lil guy, I'll let you out of your diapersuit if you prove to me you can actually go 'pp' in the 'potty.' It really makes no sense to make you wear that bulky thing if you're potty trained, after all!" Caretaker Audino smiled warmly gave Plum a pet on the head and a pat on his butt, "It's just down the hall and around the corner!" It only took a minute or two of stiff crinkly waddling for Plum to finally arrive at the bathroom door. But something was wrong. Scratches all over the face of the door. The edges reinforced with bolted on metal. A line of thick padlocks tracing from the top to the bottom edge of the doorway. Locked. Hopelessly and impossibly sealed shut and adored with the desperate marks of those that came before him. Plum fidgeted, unable to close his legs and started lightly hopping from paw to paw in place. Time was running out... Soft footsteps came from behind and he turned to find Audino leaning on against the wall - arms folded, head cocked and grin spanning ear to ear. "What's the matter? I thought you said you could make it?"

A male Shinx named Spark is buckled in and seated on a booster seat in the backseat of a car. He is wearing a green hoodie, rectangular glasses, and a purple diaper with spark and bolt icons on it. He is holding a Nintendo 3DS and has a plushie of Kion from The Lion Guard on the seat next to him. The car is stopped at a rest stop where a male Vulpix named Blaze and a male Litten named Leo are heading inside. Blaze teases the squirmy Shinx and tells him to wait in the car while they run inside for the restrooms, to which Spark responses and complains he needs to go too. Spark's wrists and ankles are attached to the booster seat with tethers for "safety" reasons. His squirming pulls the tethers tautly and his tail is pointed in agitation. Leo tells him he'll be fine and to hang tight with his plush, his complaining doing little to change the two smug Mon's minds.
