Lots of Dems even said it was Total nothing burger They didn't 'overthrow Democracy'. Biden still got in. Skipping the primaries in the last election for the Dems was a far bigger "overthrow of democracy" than Jan. 6th. was. As a result we missed an opportunity to run a strong candidate vs Trump

I have no idea why our party still obsesses over January 6th. It's the biggest nothing-burger of all time. They've been squawking about that for years and ignoring the real issues the US Electorate wants then to address. That's why we got our asses handed to us in the last election. Turn the page.

The idiotic publicity stunt was so cringey. Finally found something that both Dems and Republicans can get together on. The strong majority of people on both sides of the political aisle saw that for what it was.

The point of my post was she wasn't talking about a specific Dem policy regarding all disabled Americans that she could argue was better than the option from the GOP. Instead, she was bitching about an absolutely ridiculously random and obscure group of people. Autistic poets?! Is this a joke?!

As progressives are "autistic poets" really the hill we want to die on?! Dems need to rethink a number of grossly unpopular policies that they cling to - the policies that swept Trump into office We need to stop worrying about such idiotic rallying cries & win our country back w/ common sense ideas

For many of the the past 100 years, the Democrats have had control of the White House and both houses of Congress. They could have overturned that at any point and they didn't.

Unfortunately, none of that matters, Peters. Trump won the electoral college & popular vote & the GOP won both house & senate & ALL swing states. We NEED better leaders in this party other than @aoc.bsky.social The answer is certainly not repeatedly screaming dated & idiotic terms like "Oligarchs"

Mark, Trump isn't cutting social security Never said he was I hate the guy too but we cant just start using false scare tactics that are constantly proven untrue We need REAL strategies on what we can do to save this party. It's in shambles! The latest approval number for Dems are historically low.

Peters, I wish your numbers were correct but they're not She lost by 2.3 million votes, not 235,000 And while she lost the popular vote that vote doesn't matter She lost the electoral vote 42% to 58% It pains me to admit this but that's a mandate. We need a leader in our party. We don't have one.

How can you say we didn't lose big?! We lost the Electoral vote, the popular vote, the House, the Senate, every swing state and lost with virtually ever demographic. Hate to admit it, but that's a trouncing. As much as I hate Trump, he never said he would cut Medicaid. We can't die on that hill.

We NEED to stop using identity politics as our strategic political policy. IT DOESN'T WORK! "Rich, white, blah blah". We need to STOP! And we also need to stop using scare tactics. WE are the ones that need to change, not the GOP.

Peters, we got SHALLACKED in the election. We need to start to recognize that! If we don't we'll lose even lose worse in the mid-terms. We NEED to change something if we're going to win next time! On trade, we need to think differently.

In fairness Biden was big on tariffs as well Personally I was always sick of Biden going on an apology tour globally The GOP has never claimed anywhere they were going to gut social security medicare/caid That's 100% false Im upset they had such a huge election win too but we have to deal with facts
