It’s a bad PR move either way they go, I understand. If they vilify him, they admit there’s a problem with predators, but if they encourage him to continue, they admit it as well, but personally I feel the latter option puts them in a better light.

This behavior is deplorable, downright awful. As big a game as Roblox is, the way they’ve made #Schlep out to be a dangerous individual, defending the predatory behavior on the platform by encouraging people to put in reports that DON’T GET ANSWERED—

—which he’s said was his very first account in which he used to visit games he enjoys, to make videos online about, which have been paying his rent. As of now, especially with his aversion to no longer wanting to be on the site despite his ban, it’s suspected he can no longer care for himself and—

Along with the C&D sent to #Schlep, they basically told him that his actions are harmful, that he’s “simulating potentially dangerous behaviors”, and defaming the game for catching these people. Along with the C&D, they IP banned him, which voids all his accounts, victim accounts and even his main—

—which are usually either ignored, or simply responded to as “nothing can be done”.

Recently (I’m unsure if it happened today), #Roblox updated their TOS to include “Vigilante Groups”, and in plain English, the section BASICALLY vilifies Vigilantes for seeking out and arresting these criminals.

He has a YouTube channel, which has garnered a huge following, where he reports his investigations and findings, as well as showcasing who he sends the info he gathers to. The police have even THANKED HIM for the work he and his team do. In each video, he discusses sending the information to #Roblox

—out to #Roblox with the startling information and proof of the situation, only to be told years later that nothing could be done.

Naturally, as a victim of this, Schlep decided to take a stand, building a team to catch these predators and have them arrested, and save other children facing them.

If you don’t already know #Schlep, he’s been active in the Roblox community since he was a child. Unfortunately, he was a victim of a cruel, disgusting person, to the extent of attempting to end his life. While in remission in the hospital, his mother reached—

I was interested in making games, I’ve bought Robux, I’ve customized my character, made friends, played all the hot new games, much like any other player on the platform. So you’ll imagine the surprise I felt when I heard that creator #Schlep has been sent a C&D and IP ban from the site.

I’ve been an avid #Roblox player since I was a kid. It released in 2006, I started playing in 2007 and haven’t stopped playing. This isn’t about me, but to emphasize the point; Roblox has been a staple in my childhood and how I grew up.
