I've been through a similar situation and this really sucks. Companies should have to compensate for people who leave their jobs for an offer they were assured was in stone.

I had a similar experience with the latest season of Peacemaker. They claimed to have found an empty planet, but to me it was obvious there were signs of human activity. A field with primarily one kind of grass and a hard forest edge gives it away.
