In a new leaked memo, the FDA outlined plans to make it much harder to get new vaccines approved, claiming, without sharing evidence, that the COVID vaccines have killed at least 10 children.

This is so reckless. The science shows us that COVID vaccines have saved millions of lives.

Every once in a while I tell people from other countries about how the health insurance system works in the US and they are aghast. Yesterday a guy straight up didn’t believe me when I said people can die because of not being able to afford medicine. He was sure I meant in the distant past.

You will never get a livable wage.

You will never get free or affordable healthcare.

You will never get lower college tuition or reduced college debt.

You will never have affordable housing, be it a house or an apartment.

You will *never* have these things

…until y’all stop hating Black People.

doing some reading on conservatives' long love affair with foreign authoritarians and one thing i'm struck by is their credulity and gullibility. you see this now with orban: "serious" conservatives hailing orban as an illiberal leader, while actual Hungarians are like "this guy is a two-bit thief"

I wish I could express to political pundits in other countries that "Yes we care about the troubling things our president is saying about your sovereignty, your economy, and your culture... But he just told us, his voting population, that he isn't sold on defending our constitution. We're busy ATM."
