I don't know how people like white bread. It usually just tastes like paper. Like, I prefer it for things like pb&j, but in general, no.
I forgot to buy my multigrain bread and stuck with my wife's/kid's (they love it) white bread for work lunch, and it is just ... disappointing.

It is difficult not giving xmas gifts the moment you buy them. What do you mean I have to wait 2 whole months? Ughhhh.

I am sad about losing Threads. The comradery I found there with its writing community was unlike any I had found on any other social media platform. Minus the algorithm hiding our content. It just doesn't feel the same anywhere else.

It is really annoying how my fellow coworkers and I can try all sorts of things to fix a problem with a machine, and then when we finally call our team lead for help, he comes in and presses two buttons, likely two buttons we pressed 10 times already, and it instantly works, making us look dumb. 1/

I think I did really well this year! No pointless toys or items that might be discarded in a few years. All long term cool things for everyone to enjoy :D

This is getting very frustrating.
I tried all drivers back to Oct 2020 (the date of the latest driver for the pen's original tablet), & no luck.
Hard to tell exactly what is the issue, but I don't want to spend another $100-150 just to find out it's a used tablet issue :/

Fortunately, 3 dif sites say my pen is compatable ... unfortunately, it isn't working no matter what I try.
For $30 more, I could have got one with a pen. Pens alone are $100+ ...

Sometimes I think I should scale down my series to make it more manageable. I've given myself just so much to write before it all comes together, but I put so much work into it that I don't want to tear it down. When it finally does come together, it will be amazing ... many years from now 😮💨

In my book series, Nihilian Effect, the goddess portrays herself as mysterious & elegant, but has a quick temper that she constantly struggles to hide, & at her core she is shallow & unimaginative. These aspects are represented in the layers of her sword.

Why does EVERYTHING make me think of #Cyberpunk 2077. It has me wanting to start another playthrough so bad. I've never wanted to replay a game like this so soon. It has to be in my top 5 all-time favorites.

Like, I get it, those are great tools, but then require their own usually completely different type of promotion, so then you are back to square one.
I love how the general advice found online to sell your book without self promotion or social media is always stuff like build a website, start a podcast, build an email list ... all of which require their own promotion.

I hate how Wacom's new non-screen #art tablets have buttons at the top so you have to reach over your #drawing / pen or move it to use them. Terrible design.
& while the 2017 version (side buttons) has its own page, if you click buy, it brings you to the new one. Then why even have it listed? 1/

I will say, even though I know I can sketch a good sword, #drawing is something that definitely gives me impostor syndrome when looking at others' works. I know I will improve and just need to ignore it, but it is still a thing.

Trying to do some studying on digital #drawing styles, specifically for swords, and a lot of the step by steps I am seeing feel very "draw the rest of the owl", going from rough line #art to suddenly having all the shading and highlighting.
It has been 20 years, I need some reminders.
