Canari was a bit surprised by how much this place looked like a regular office, especially after the strange room she had arrived in earlier. But once he explained what this space was used for, it made a lot more sense.

When they reached her house, she pushed the door open for him. The place was fairly large, decorated with walls painted in soft yellows and light blues that matched her hair and outfit. One wide window offered a beautiful view overlooking a part of the city, the lights shimmering like stars below.

She was a bit surprised by his adjustments, though. She wasn’t used to wearing her hair loose, and she glanced in the mirror to see how it looked, right as he fastened the choker around her neck, which startled her even more.
