Same in QLD. Mobile butcher can homekill but meat can’t be sold. Victoria changed its laws to allow “vehicle-based” abattoirs. www.primesafe.vic.gov.au/wp-content/u...

Does Tassie allow mobile abattoirs? Qld does not and some regions are facing similar issues, even though we’re big. Pastured poultry in particular. Which has its own biosecurity challenges. 🎧from 35min www.abc.net.au/listen/progr...

Interesting - what do you think that tells us? Is it because the barley we grow only suits that market or is there too much competition/other neglected markets out there?
