the med is called dicyclomine!! maybe your Dr just isn't super knowledgeable about gastro issues? I just Googled it bc I wasn't sure if it's a newer med but Google says it was approved in 1950 😭 esp since your ibs is so bad idk why he wouldn't want to try it out

also finding your ibs triggers also helps a lot. I learned one of mine is onions (which makes me so so sad bc I love onions but the pain is truly not worth it) and if I eat too much gluten I start to feel like a balloon

I dont wanna be annoying but I def recommend talking to your dr if you don't have a routine for it. Mine put me on a med to take when I eat that like makes the stomach/intestines chill the fuck out and it helps so so much. Much less bloating and cramping.

I've def had really bad bathroom times because of my ibs too. I've been on the toilet absolutely sobbing because my insides hurt so much. so I totally understand you hun. lots of hugs

I did guess the bad guy pretty early but I did not guess the way the story went AT all. my only real grumble with it is I wish they had made airi a little bit older. but overall like 9/10 ⭐️

and she hates it when I cry which makes it hard too cuz I been crying a lot. ever since she was a baby she's always run from me when I cried. she alwayd runs to her daddy to "fix it" and I just wanna cuddle her but I can't stop crying 😥
