Today I took part in Osegaki (お施餓鬼), a #Buddhist ritual to comfort hungry ghosts and forgotten souls. As a low-ranking priest, I helped offer food, incense, and prayers for all beings.
Hungry ghosts like junk food, 🍲 too. My Zen master, wise as ever, must sit this one out to tend to his health.
