She makes me so angry! As a constituent I left voicemails and emails asking her not to support this.

We love eggs every morning for breakfast, and they are egg-stra special when we get farm eggs from across the street. 🥚 🍳

I had those same thoughts.

The day I learned I was cancer free (for now, at least)

During my treatments I really appreciated these Friday posts - they gave me lots of hope!!

We may have to give our patio a name! We, too, have lots of “big talks” and many decisions are made on our patio. We enjoy ☕️ and 🍷 almost daily when the weather allows. Cheers to decks!

So happy to have found you here! I’m struggling too and feel very disconnected not living in DC anymore. My village/family is suffering and I’m trying to do as much as I can to fight this. Will keep you and the DC crew in front of mind as we continue to fight. Sending much love to you, friend.

**ASL Interpreter entering chat**
ASL and English are not the same language. ASL has different syntax, grammar and structure. This is why I can’t understand British Sign Language (BSL) even though both BSL and ASL are interpreted from English. Folks who rely on ASL often are not bilingual in English

This! The concept of food choices - this was the first time in my life I felt empowered to finally be responsible for making my own choices - not what some diet has chosen for me.

I’m still working on getting all my nutrients from foods by adding a little at a time & exploring new foods. Thank you

Has Sharon made it over here to Bluesky? I follow her work and would love to follow her here, too.

Followed you on Threads, got your book, and you have single-handedly changed my view of foods, “diets”, and my ability to make food choices. It’s a gift that will be with me from now on. Thank you!

Wonderful! It’s been suggested that due to age and other factors that I should increase my Magnesium intake. Would love to do it through nutrition rather than supplements if possible.

What food sources are high in magnesium?

Learned about Watch Duty during the Davis Fire near Reno this past summer. Fastest way we received real time data. Living in the high desert, I have come to appreciate apps/news sources that help us understand fire safety around us.

Our local hospital will stop accepting UHC insurance next year because they have been so frustrated with trying to get payment from them. Sadly, most of the folks that use that hospital/clinics are State employees and the State insurance is UHC. So I bet you are correct in your view.
