Going into this recovery journey, I can't honestly say I thought it possible I'd make even a month sober consistently. But lo and behold it's 200+ days. Most important learned is you can't tackle addiction alone. Reach out! Community services and AA/NA are filled with the kindest people #sobersky

Week started on a bum note as the interview panel for the job I wanted selected someone with more relevant technical expertise than me. However, there is reason to celebrate as I hit 5 months free of cocaine, MD and all my other unhealthy vices. #sober

4 months!!! Most obvious improvements - I'm feeling more connected to people in my life and my attention span has improved immeasurably. And a welcome side effect of all the attending and sharing in all the CGL & NA groups, I'm the least anxious I've been since moving to London! #sobersky

On day 90. We danced a marathon #Sobersky

My mum passed away 18 years ago on December 28. My grief can legally drink now! However, for the first time since I turned 18, I was not drinking, drunk or high during this anniversary/holiday period. I was not sombre but grateful for the love I received from her. All because I'm 60 days sober.

First sober dance completed. I need an ice bath.
