Like I feel like I'm going mad, instead of a human interaction people just reply "This AI said this!" I ask a coworker well what's the benefit of doing an implementation this way. Response: "Well the AI said this"

Personally, I sorta like the "technically decentralized, but appears centralized" approach of how fediverse/mastadon operates since it appears the most resilient to "dumb guy takes power and causes people to leave" while maintaining contacts since they're all sorta connected even if you "move" a bit
