I've been messing around with some projects to learn some OCR frameworks and while I've had minimal issue learning these OCR frameworks, none have done what I want them to. I thought our OCR tech was a bit better than this.

If an Ad (seen on mobile) needs to specify its "legally safe" for whatever it was it's offering, I'm going to question if it's actually legal.

Random thought occurred to me last night before falling asleep: If the whole master->main thing for the primary branch was taken much further, Taskmaster would be an entirely different show if it was called Taskmain.

It's interesting some of the random site changes YouTube under the hood. Like changing the "Includes paid promotion" tag from using a class to a dedicated tag. What was wrong with it before? It looks the same, and I only noticed it cuz it showed up again after I had hidden it.

Are there any papers published on what is considered "too bright" based on any luminance calculation of an image/scene - whether they be general populace average or specific disease/conditions/etc?

Anyone out there knows of a tool to auto-remove dead air from video files that accounts for multi-channel audio. Every time I've come across seems to only handle 1 audio channel.

I once received a comment about finishing Space Hack, which I thought I did, then learned I didnt. Then played through the rest, uploaded it all to youtube and its been sitting there for over a year to schedule. That's finally happening for a game I had started in 2017

Actually looked at some links on my YT page, realized I had an old one to a service thats no longer around and shutdown a few years back. Well, thats been fixed.

I finally figured out the tiny gap below the message box on the new discord ui and it shouldve been obvious to me, its for "Soandso is typing..." - Knowing this? Could've been put above the message box.

While I have some issues with the new Discord UI, like the bottom of the server/channel list not lining up with the message area or the server title being centered instead of just left aligned as per a normal title bar, the design changes overall feel like an improvement.

One problem I have always had with code libraries is that everyone thinks their library is best because it does what they designed it to do. Which is great, for them, but just like regular code there's no such thing as a perfect library. Everyone has a preference.

There's one thing I always wondered about Calendar UIs, in that if we cannot pick a prior date for something, why even show us the weeks that have already past for the month? Show us the current week onward, or just the day onward, not the entire month that's already gone by.

If a supercut is the combination of an entire series on YT into a single video, what would the inverse be called if you go from a normally long video to a shorter one, but isnt a short?

I have removed about 300 items from my Steam wishlist. Going from over 1000 to about 700. Didn't review every single one if i was still interested but hey I shouldn't get emails from Steam saying "Blank and 23 other items from your Steam wishlist are now on sale!"

I don't typically do scripted videos on my channel, but a game has inspired me to make one, and honestly? Writing up the script is tedious for organizing thoughts in a cohesive way. I suppose this is what English classes tried to teach to some degree.

Been playing Empyrion: Galactic Survival on my own between Saturday sessions, and honestly there's still much left to be desired. Even when it comes to custom scenarios.
