Mortal Kombat 11 - You will experience true enjoyment only once you become a fan of the entire series. All of its best qualities are subtle and only noticeable to those who know.

MK11 is the conclusion of an era of Mortal Kombat, and that finale was more than worthy.

Mortal Kombat 1 (2023) - Try this only after you have played some of the earlier games and enjoyed them a lot.

If so, the newest MK will bring you real delight.

Mortal Kombat (1992) - This one you need to experience for historical context.

It is not exactly a cheerful game, but seeing and playing as Sub-Zero and Scorpion, who are the same (just different colors), is priceless💙💛

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 - This is the peak of fighting-game development on "low-bit" hardware.

It is incredible how, within such tight constraints, developers still managed to create genuinely fun games.

I recommend playing all of these. Each one gives a unique emotional experience.

Mortal Kombat 9 - I suggest starting with this one. It is simple and easy to learn. Everything feels fun, even if you are just pressing buttons randomly.

So the reason why tramway_button ends up rendering THREE different HTML tags, depending on the situation, just to show one simple button… is precisely because of those quirky foundations 😁

Because, fortunately, the web was originally built by enthusiastic hobbyists on their knees — and only later did big corporations step in. But by the time the grown-ups arrived, a huge number of fundamental quirks were already baked into the web 😊

, and sometimes even a whole <form> with hidden fields — all in the exact place where that “button” appears.

Why does this happen?

Note: “big” as in - notable to me, of course.

I’m not really immersed in that industry (unfortunately), so there might be other cool players already working on consumer versions 😊
