The ordering of Bondi to open investigations into Dems in relationship to Epstein allows House Republicans to vote to open the files giving them political cover for 2026 and provides the Senate Republicans with an out to not vote due to there being an open investigation.

Not going to happen. Trump ordered Bondi to open investigations into Democrats and institutions that may have had interactions with Epstein. Senate Republicans will vote NO due to Bondi having an open investigation on Epstein. Barrasso already said as much yesterday on Meet the Press.
