Confirmed reports now of "hundreds" of cars that were abandoned by drivers on Sunset Boulevard amid frantic #PalisadesFire evacuation gridlock earlier. (Folks made it out on foot.) CalFire/LA County bulldozers are in process of clearing path for emergency vehicles. #CAwx #CAfire

The Athens tornado has been rated EF-1 by NWS Huntsville. It was down for just under 4 miles (3.87), and had a maximum width of 160 yards.
