A veritable rainbow of fungi from our recent trip to Rakiura Stewart Island. Never seen so many blues! Most of these were found on the third day of the Rakiura great walk. The blue pink gill features on the NZ fifty dollar note and is the only mushroom on currency in the world.

Planting a new garden in front of my studio. Mostly native shrubs, Mingimingi, Hebes and spiky Aciphylla. A clematis a long the fence and the centre piece, a gingko tree, one of the oldest conifers in the world which is also deciduous!
