An online fundraising event for my good friend Rommel Linatoc, who is seriously ill in #Philippines. It was as a result of his visit to Leicester in 2005, that I took part in a solidarity mission to the Philippines and developed a long standing concern for justice issues there.

#OTD in 1985, Fr. Rudy Romano, a Redemptorist Priest was abducted on the streets of #Manila, and never seen again. He was an outspoken defender of the dignity of the poor and opponent of oppressive State policies.
