I started following you ages ago for your 5th Cir QI tweets (so useful for my pro bono work! Thank you!) and have been so charmed to get to know a piece of your dad over the years. As I face my own dad’s mortality, my thoughts are particularly with you and your family. He touched many.

The trick is to have three different 2FA apps and have it be the least annoying one.

As a sustaining member of my local station for nearly two decades, I’m deeply disappointed in this weak framing. He’s violating the law and the very foundation the country was built on. He’s not “bucking tradition.”

Thank you for your moral clarity, leadership, and clear communication about the stakes of this moment, and your willingness to put your own body on the line. We’re fortunate to have your voice and your presence.

I would say the Court's current conduct goes well beyond simply moving to the right. The Court is regularly abandoning norms, principles, and doctrines that have governed their work for decades, if not longer, and doing so in service of one political party over another. I would call that corrupt.

I deeply respect the work you are doing and the ethical and moral public servants among us. Also federal agents choosing to participate in the federalized and militarized takeovers of our cities are actively doing harm to the citizens they're meant to serve and should hear that directly from them.

What the fuck is your damage.

That’s not true as a general marrer. Every jury trial I’ve personally done (lawyer) ran five days a week. The judge in your case may have held Fridays for handling cases not set for trial. There may be some courts out there that are regularly dark on Fridays but def not most and certainly not all.

The killer is still at large, there are shelter in place orders still in place, and there are other protests still moving forward nearby. It’s a sensible and limited measure that protects protesters and allows the police to continue searching for the person who assassinated one of our lawmakers.

From an enraged Minnesotan, thanks for highlighting this, and for everything that you do.

Thank you for the work you do. You and your team are a bright light in a very dark time.
