But also, Tr12 onwards and especially... something!! that happens in Tr14 (Made in Love) might also have you pretty emotionally satisfied, especially because of their contrast from Tr11 (Destroy, Destroy, Destroy the Happy End). (10/10)

You'll like the former if you prefer a mix of Chroma's classic chiptune style and heartfelt melodies, and the latter if you want something more fast-paced which feels like it's out of a video game carrying the album's overall theme. (9/10)

a movie or anime all the way through first before rewatching your favorite scenes or episodes.
Overall an experience that left me more excited to check out the other two albums I bought!

Favorite tracks (song-wise): Tr07 (Remember You, Remember Me), Tr09 (Lonely Space Traveler) (8/10)

because that means everyone can share their different thoughts and feelings the songs gave them. I would still recommend listening to the album nonstop from start to finish first while taking note of the titles, and then going back to stuff later... kind of like how you would watch (7/10)

than finding new songs to put on repeat.

Right now I have my own vague interpretations of the story, like how U and I might be tracks from the robot's perspective (about "you," the inventor and "me," the robot itself), but I think there's charm in there not being any right answers (6/10)

as well as the hopeful chord progressions in Still Believe also served to enhance those emotions. Individually, there were some songs that I admittedly wouldn't go out of my way to listen to... but a few tracks into my first listen, I was already more interested in the experience as a whole (5/10)

starting from the awkward curiosity present at the beginning of their relationship, to the happiness and warmth of them making memories together, the desperation in their rocky journey, and the bittersweetness of the endroll. The samples like the fireworks in Remember You, Remember Me (4/10)

that was going to be the style of the whole album... I was pleasantly proven wrong! It felt like the album had chapters, just like a novel. Even if I couldn't draft up a detailed story in my head from my first listen, I could at least feel from the different genres an emotional roller coaster (3/10)

As someone who knew Chroma mostly for his chiptune tracks/boss songs and a few Vocaloid releases, I was impressed by the variety of musical styles throughout the whole album! The first four tracks gave an experimental and futuristic feel that somehow still felt "like home," and I thought (2/10)

Like last year, we were allowed to record the encore song, which was their arrangement of Suika's theme Broken Moon. Below is a clip from the bridge (band instrument solos) to the final section (the sax carrying the main melody backed by the orchestra) 🎵 Really awesome performance!!

Stages 1~3 were calmer and more melodic, whereas the later stages were grander. The whole thing was accompanied by a fitting background movie playing on the screen behind the orchestra. They also improved the stage lighting this year to match the screen, which added to the immersion!

I enjoyed the first part a bit more thanks to the exciting fusion of an orchestra and band instruments, but the second part was also nice, partly because I like quite a few songs (read: remixes) from Imperishable Night. Like last year, the songs were performed in the order of the game's stages.
