Republicans have no alternative to the ACA because the ACA IS THE Conservative plan to tackle health insurance costs.

First proposed by the Heritage Foundation as an alternative to Medicare 4 All during the Clinton years & first put in practice in Massachusetts by Republican Governor Mitt Romney.

And maybe something about maybe they shouldn’t have designed kippot as mini-frisbees. 😀

Then again, the frisbee wasn’t created until centuries later.

Anyway, thank you for your posts. I ordered 3 more shirts for this Hannukah for my girls. I’ll DM you pictures of them wearing them in a few weeks.

I just listened to a podcast about Jewish prayer, & one rabbi mentioned Maimonides wrote about never praying in a room without windows. Meaning that our prayers can’t be just for ourselves but we need to engage the world outside.

This story caused a connection to that in my mind. Much to grok.

I don’t think the sarcasm is downplaying what happened to the Irish. (Irish dual citizen here.)

Their sarcasm is more directed at the American white racists who down play chattel slavery against the Blacks by using the logical fallacy of whataboutism with the Irish so often in online comments.
