the previous painting for this class, dont like em as much but yeah
the first painting was focusing on value using a Styrofoam box and some black and white cubes (we dont talk about the porportions of this one), while the second we added temperature to the same structure

i was trying to balance a sense of class and also how free-spirited she is. i also wanted to include some of the design elements of the world of the dead uniforms, like alastor's.
eventually, i settled on this! and went back to the long hair bc i liked it too much in her previous design

i just love him so much, i wanted the look to be perfect, but didn't really know what i wanted. i thought i landed on something until i put him actually in the uniform,,, though it's grim reaper, i don't think he would be able to fight in that jacket much,,,

he was so difficult to figure out,,, his last design ive had for a few years and it was hard not to default back to its concepts
i mostly wanted to incorporate more of who he is and who he was when he was alive. the motifs i was focusing on were: 1950s suits, soldiers, and, of course, grim reaper
