Please forgive me, I read it a while ago & my memory might (ha!) be spotty. IIRC, it was the pace of the book & that I kept waiting for something to happen. But that's also on me for picking a book that isn't normally in my wheelhouse of novels. I hope you enjoy it as it's excellently written!
