Payment processors have begun showing resistance to phone calls (hanging up, changing numbers, verbal abuse). In addition to continued phone pressure, we are now adding physical mail as another pressure point. Tips (bulleted list) (Bullet one) If you are able, it is ideal to write letters by hand for larger impact, but printed letters are an effective alternative (Bullet two) Writing your own letter in your own voice is ideal, but scripts are available to copy or reword (Bullet three) Be polite and do not make any threats (Bullet four) Within the US, a return address is not required and is only used when the mail is deemed not deliverable. You can drop your letters off at any USPS blue collection box or post office location for increased anonymity (Bullet five) Supplies: Use whatever you have, or purchase the necessary envelopes and paper for cheap at a dollar store. So yesterday I saw this reading for today and I kind of knew I was being told something. I didn't think it would happen so soon but it is comforting to read.

And as she wept, she bent over into the tomb and saw two angels in white sitting there, one at the head and one at the feet where the Body of Jesus had been. And they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “They have taken my Lord, and I don’t know where they laid him.” When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus there, but did not know it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you looking for?” She thought it was the gardener and said to him, "Sir, if you carried him away, tell me where you laid him, and I will take him.” Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to him in Hebrew, “Rabbouni,” which means Teacher. Jesus said to her, “Stop holding on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am going to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” Mary went and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord,” and then reported what he had told her. A reading from Rejoice and Be Glad for April 22nd: Just as Jesus had earlier released Mary Magdalene from demons and empowered her to follow him, now he is releasing her from what could have become an unhealthy clinging to the way things were. The entire ministry of Jesus has demonstrated that nothing ever stays the same upon encountering him: the blind see, the the lame walk, the ignorant are instructed. Now, in this raw moment of recognition, Jesus frees Mary to find and be with him in new ways. Her life will testify to his resurrection. Meditation: Deep in our hearts, we yearn to be secure, to be loved and intimately attached to others. Knowing when to let go of one way of loving to allow for a new way of loving is challenging work. Even good things will eventually suffocate if we cling to them too tightly. Where might the risen Jesus be asking you to loosen your grip so that something new can breathe in you? Prayer: O Lord of the empty tomb, never let our longing for the way things were prevent us from moving into the future.
