Echoing everyone else with naptimes and bedtimes. Being a parent to littles is both the most draining and the most rewarding thing in my life 😂
The fun part is now my 5 yo is old enough to teach her some games, so we'll often play together for a bit after school. I love it 💜

This game is the earliest gaming memory for me. I was probably around 3 or so and remember my older brother playing it on his Sega Genesis. I can still clearly hear the "Sega" from the startup and the game music lives rent free in my head.
I was so excited when I was old enough to play it myself 😊

Every year I struggle not to buy too much because I want to spoil each and every one of those kids.
We've taken some truly heartbreaking requests but it makes me so happy to know they'll have what they need 💜

We have an Angel Tree too! Last year, we had one where a kid just needed some sheets and had some idea for what they wanted. We ended up getting them a whole bed set (sheets, comforter, etc.) and some stuffed animals that matched their interests.

Hope you feel better soon! I'm down with something completely different today. I have a preschooler, so my household has been a rotating door of viruses. I absolutely NEED my flu and COVID vaccines but can't stay healthy long enough to get them 😭

Definitely feels like an underdeveloped game and deserves a lot of the criticism it gets. But since I got it for $10, it felt like a steal and I love the story. Has one of my favorite opening sequences to a game as well.

Glad you're enjoying it! I stopped playing for a bit and can't bring myself to start again because I'm a few in game days from the final year. I've built such a peaceful life but can't watch everyone get old 😭
