Ending my time at the annual Council on Governmental Ethics Laws conference. I left learning more than I could have expected. Hearing perspectives from agencies across the nation is invaluable.

An engaged and informed voter is the backbone of our democracy. Engaged means not taking things at face value and investigating on your own. Campaign finance reports are public, so see who funds your candidates!

Stoked to attend 50th annual COGEL conference. The panel I wanted to share about today addressed turning crises into opportunity and restoring public trust in government. It can take a true public crisis before better laws are written. I dream of a world where good policy is not a last resort.
