I've only played NSMB 1 and 2. The first one is pretty fun. The 2nd one... I played it twice and still struggle remembering it.

Oh I never finished Paper Mario on NSO. The subscription ran out and I didn't get to renew it afterwards. I gotta fix that sometime.

I have the 3DS game. Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. Played it for a few hours but then set it aside. Should go back to it sometime.

I don't like the idea of game key cards either. Plus Switch 2's first party games are even pricier than the ones on Switch 1, it seems.
The future of gaming looks dark. We're reaching a point where gaming is no longer going to be affordable anymore outside of Steam/Epic/GOG sales :/
