it's hard to learn. We have a rightwing PM right now who supports Trump and wants to make a police state. And most of the public is FINE with this. Criminologists were on the news since before the election preaching more police doesn't help but did anyone listen? Of course not. They really do still

Also they just don't listen when the people who did take the time to understand it try to explain it. I'm not American, and in a way I think where I'm at is worse. Our population is EXTREMELY politically ignorant, I'm not even the most informed bc I'm young and if you weren't AROUND for something-

Using the bathroom in private is more of a sanitary thing thay it being inherently shameful and must be kept away? Humans learned to separate our bathrooms to prevent disease. If you're relieving yourself in the open you're probably not being clean about it.
