the rough part about queerness in xiv spaces is that when you find a queer-friendly space, you have to figure out what that means to them:
- will show solidarity & protect queer ppl
- queer-friendly in name alone
- will tolerate queer fetishization (most commonly f+)
- will attack & berate queer ppl

so you're telling me the current contender for Mare has a dev that
- says "C# isn't a server language"
- thinks the server needs a full rewrite?
- is repeating the claims that Mare was sending data to FFXIV servers AND is implicating Dalamud in this

in the aftermath here, people will be looking for alternatives. I strongly urge everyone to avoid "LoporritSync", which is a functioning alternate server for Mare hosted primarily by and for people banned from the central server due to explicit mods involving children

That is, ofc, if you wanna still share mods and such with your friends. But yea, back to old school!
