What is your experience with the company hiring a 3rd party vendor for quick or large ServiceNow modules. Like HR or facilities or virtual agent or itom? Is it always troublesome or have you had good experiences? Specifics please?

ServiceNow is what I do for a living. I work direct for a company as a SN Admin/Dev. I took several coding classes at a young age, but SN is the first time I have professionally coded. Sometime I feel like I don't know what I am doing. 6 years in and low code is great for me. anyone else same?
