I have it, as an idea that somewhere in his lore post-Dawntrail he trains to master Red Mage. The, uh, grace side of it is still hard for him to figure out properly. But damn if he doesn't try his damndest, alright?!

He has made attempts at it, however as the one casting job he has really shown any true aptitude for is Red Mage. Though he leans more towards the martial side of it, swinging the rapier with fierce precision and fitting bravado, when he feels it "right" he will drop Vers to "make a point".
