Everything sucks plus I’ve had what is a migraine or is my Lupus attacking my brain (I will know what it is after the MRI and neurologist in Nov) for 3 mos now BUT also my love bought Farnsworth a sweater and it’s fabulous

Also, just because lentils were mentioned too, this is one of my family’s favorites:
1 cup black or French green lentils Kosher salt 2 small sprigs rosemary, leaves finely chopped 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped ¼ tsp. crushed red pepper flakes / cup (or more) plus 2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil Zest and juice of 1 lemon 1 small head of cauliflower (about 1½ lb.), broken into large florets, florets sliced as thinly as possible. Step 1 Cook lentils in a large saucepan of simmering salted water until tender but still firm, 20-25 minutes. Drain; transfer to a medium bowl. Let cool; pat dry. Step 2 Place rosemary, garlic, and red pepper flakes in a large bowl. Heat ½ cup oil in a large skillet over medium-high until it begins to shimmer. Pour oil over aromatics in bowl; reserve skillet. Let sit to minutes, then whisk in lemon zest and juice; season rosemary mojo with salt. Step 3 Add lentils to skillet and increase heat to high. Season with salt; cook, stirring occasionally, until most of the lentils are crisp, about 5 minutes. Step 4 Add cauliflower to bowl with rosemary mojo and toss to coat. Taste and season with more salt if needed. Add lentils and toss again. Add more oil if needed.

My thoughts on the Netflix documentary about The Biggest Loser “Fit For TV” ❤️
The Netflix documentary about The Biggest Loser "Fit For TV" is out today. No, I did not give an interview for it. I have been talking with the producers since 2023 and have been preparing for this to drop for over a year by deleting most of my social media. The only social media I have left is this Instagram and a BlueSky account. If you see "me" posting anything anywhere else? It's not me. I opted to pass on appearing in the documentary, not because I don't believe in sharing the truth about how harmful that show was (fatphobia is oppression and our oppressions are all linked so must all be countered everywhere we find them to free us all) but because I have a teenager now. A teenager that deserves their privacy. Being a teenager is hard, being a teenager right now is especially hard. I was the first person to blow the whistle on TBL. I stood alone in that truth for ten years before anyone else stood up with me all while getting threats from NBC to ruin me financially, death threats from strangers, and myriad other indignities from people online. My kid doesn't need to be subjected to that. I think I've done enough. If I hadn't already been true to myself and my truth, I might feel differently but I was, and I'm good sitting this documentary out. All my love and support to those of you speaking out this time around If you want to know what I went through and help my family? Buy my book. It's the link up there in my bio. Be gentle, I had to self publish because no publisher would touch it for fear of being sued. It reads as fiction. You can decide if it is.
