Agree. There's that infamous Lee Atwater quote about the Southern Strategy, which I won't repeat, but the modern equivalent is "t-slur, t-slur, t-slur" and it needs to be called out in that language every time they start in on us. It's not a legitimate issue and shouldn't be treated as one.

It's not about trans athletes, in the same way that it was not about water fountains. If you accede to baseless wedge issues you have already lost the moral contest.

I grew up in the far North, but (begrudgingly) adopted "y'all". IMO there's just no better third person plural 🤷🏻‍♀️
