All GenAI is bad AI. If companies are not punished for using it *ever* then they will add more and more until human artists are no longer involved.

You're argument is flawed because they did not "use AI tools". They used GenAI. The Indie awards specifically state GenAI can't be used, E33 did use it, the awards were right to remove it. If you want to be angry at anyone, be angry at the execs that force the studios to use GenAI.

Satisfactory. It's got the best onboarding and arguably best gameplay of the genre. Plus it looks gorgeous and has funny writing.

I suspect a lot of this comes from Japanese culture. Trailers for anime, end of episode previews, OPs, and heck even episode titles (looking at you One Piece) tend to contain massive amounts of spoilers. My friend used to call it "hype culture" where Japanese fans prefer being hyped over surprised.
