review in goodreads wherein the first reviewer leaves a 1 star review: “I enjoyed the first few chapters of this book. The history of the search for this legendary city was interesting. The archaeologists, historians, and crooks that kept the search public for centuries are certainly a colorful bunch. Unfortunately, the language became quite foul after about 4 chapters. Because of personal convictions, I chose to quit the book. I really wish authors didn’t feel they should include that sort of stuff.” A second commenter responds ‘Agree. I listen to books (not read) - some tts readers and phones allow you to change words; GBU becomes God bless you. So I changed D into darn and other words to less offensive ones. Just a suggestion … (angel face emoji)”
