I don’t think Thanksgiving is just for family by any means.

We’ve never hosted, but there was a period where we were guests at two thanksgivings a year due to the proximity of our parents (we lived in Houston near mine and wife’s lived 90 miles away), so my perspective is going to be weird

I didn’t know there was another definition

Not sure if it holds for film

I am a big proponent of using the source of truth vs creating a copy that can get out of date!

Gotta have it on hand because you never know when the Bat Signal will light up

Matched pair of 8 or a single 16?

My in-laws have it, and I got a copy for my wife years ago when we got married. I never have made it to Pope :(

Are any of you familiar with the board game “Is the Pope Catholic?” featuring just such a bear on the board

That is technically true!

But a team that goes 0-2 and only scores 20 points over 8 quarters isn’t looking good!

It has in fact not been a good game!

In favor of that: GB often plays up to their opponent.

Against: GB can’t stop the run, Philly can run.

Possible outcome: 50 minutes ToP for Eagles, all Tush Pushes

I’d like to imagine the Packers game will bring me joy but I’ll probably be a wreck the whole time.

So, probably the cup of coffee I’ll have at my parents’s this evening during our visit.

Kids, amirite?

This might be more relevant to the south, but I try to do drywall patching, and paint touchups during the fall/winter so I can open the windows and air it out at night.

We can’t open windows during the summer because it’s 90° at night

I suppose it was early marketing on store shelves leading up to it. It’s not like the cereal is canon to the musical and kids are gonna run out and grab it after seeing the movie.

It’s basically a poster?

Seinfeld reruns were once an evening some summers

Friends reruns were at least one a day every summer, and then we started getting the DVDs, and it was still airing!

Simpsons twice a day year round for years.
