I loved Orphans in the Sky and enjoyed Starship Troopers but not this one (actually, it started out just fine, but I hated the direction it went, and I’m not sure I ever finished it)

The local high school used to require volunteer work but let the kids choose what they did to meet the requirement. They ended it between when my two kids graduated, but my son was inspired by his sister’s experience to do it anyway.

A max executive pay to lowest paid employee ratio would be good … penalty could be a hefty fine, redistribution, cancellation of subsidies, etc
