Do you remember the story of the Japanese soldier left with two other men on an island in WW2 John? Who believed the war went on into the 70’s and wouldn’t leave his post until his commanding officer gave him the order. Was fascinated by that as a kid.

I’m listening to H.P Lovecraft at the moment. So often the horror is philosophical or occult knowledge too huge or revelatory to leave a mind undamaged.

I sold my XBox to a neighbour when I cleared my flat just to buy a copy. He mentioned recently that a paperback is forthcoming.

This is actually helping me though. The emptying out of oneself and the approach toward a psychoanalytic state of grace before the traumatic or unspeakable.
