Personal opinion here - I think he doesn't care. I think his orders were to kill democracy & tank the US. This is in exchange for being elected to avoid prison. Everything with him is transactional.

Just read Speaker Johnson's thoughts on the laid off employees.
Great, it's gonna be corrected - but what do they do until then. How do they feed their families, pay their mortgage & car payments? What about health coverage? These are not data bits to be manipulated - they are human beings
