Look, I can't possible make the biggest post in the world right now about this but I needed to say something about the death of Hulk Hogan... They often say don't meet your heroes. I never meet HH irl but over the years I've found people like him that I once idolized when I was younger and more innocent to be sad and disappointing. You can google all the weird shit he's done and had been involved with. - From being caught saying racist things about a black man his daughter was dating to the weird saga he had with his former friend and podcaster, Bubba "The Love Sponge". And so on and so forth. As a pro-wrestler, he was the greatest draw of any act of all time in terms of long-term money earnings. Stone Cold Steve Austin was the greatest short-term draw. Many people remember how well he treated some fans and how as a character he made people feel. While others will remember how many lies he told about his career and how many times he tried to sabotage the careers of other wrestlers. - Numerous wrestlers. Overtime, you see the world is rife with similar people. Often times, people still say "Separate the Art from the Artist" in regards to such people like J.K. Rowling, Chris Brown, Bill Cosby, and so on... I'll tell you. Knowing sometimes it can be hard, you can and should disconnect and disassociate from these people. They're artists. This is what they do. Make you feel. Make you feel a connection to them. But, when you find out the truth. You should abandon them. You don't know them. They don't know you. They were doing a job at some point. They loved the adulation. But, they don't love you. Not all of you. Please kindly, just get over these people. You were never in a relationship with these people. It has been honestly hard for me in the past with some folks. It's also hard sometimes to grow up a little. And that's part of what it is. Growing up a little.
