My 2x great grandparents, John and Ellen Keogh emigrated from Tipperary and were protestors at the Eureka Stockade rebellion on Dec 3rd 1854. How and why Australia remains a constitutional monarchy 170 years later is mystifying and also embarrassing. We should be a republic under our own flag💪💪💪

Is America on the verge of a new monarchy? Democracy is fragile, the cracks are today so expansive it's easy to imagine the whole structure failing very soon & being replaced by a president as titular head of state. In essence, the government will be under dominant, authoritarian one-man leadership.
