Fighting the depression and sharing art despite the Horrors. This was a timed monster design challenge I did with my friends some years ago. I feel like the prompt involved scorpions? Anyway I like yo think this guy lives behind that pile of stuff in your backyard you always mean to get rid of
A monster with an amalgamation of parts. The lower half is a gaping maw of teeth and eyes with six human arms propelling it and a pair of spider-like fangs ready to grab victims. Coming up from the back like a scorpion tail is the larger upper body. This appears as a human like torso covered in phosphorescent fur(?). Its large neck leans forward and is covered at the end by a simple porcelain mask with only smiling eye holes. It has massive arms ending in badger-like claws that it seems to use to balance its upper half and help with movement.

Fanart of Hephaestus for the announcement of Hades 2. Made before the official design came out. This Hephaestus is a large Black man, powerfully built with a round belly and hugely muscled arms, a classic "blacksmith" sort of build. His dreadlocks are pulled up in a bundle behind him, and his long beard has been Braided and wrapped in cuffs to keep it away from his work. He wears a bright red toga and headband with a gold circlet, little flames dancing around his crown. His arms are gloved but his fingers are exposed, impervious to the molten steel he is working into a sword with a giant magma hammer he has heated onto his golden, smoking shoulder pauldrons. Behind the anvil he works upon, we can see his prosthetic leg, also made from the celestial metalwork he is so skilled with. He regards the viewer with cool-headed interest, ready to lend a boon. All of this has been done in the "Hades Style," with sharply contrasting edge lighting and a comic-book-like approach to blackout shadows.

Finally got around to deleting my account over on the rat's husk of a social media site! To celebrate, I'd like to share a conceptual piece from forever ago that got me feeling like I could actually do a cyberpunk story. Duvoch is a funky megacity that I rotate in my brain often.

Everything built upward and densely, leaving the streets in a perpetual shadow lit only by the eternal night-life that thrives below. Neon signs for business glow, such as the Skeleton Closet, Coffee Grind, Ocean Brewery, and Fujihara Noodles. Above, the dark outlines of buildings are immersed in the glow of a foggy yellow daylight, and in the distance, the massive tower known as the Citadel looms.
