These are neighbors and family members who present as nice and kind. They aren’t threatening themselves and I’ve given up on changing minds- it’s not happening.

There’s been a growing distrust for decades. I have family members who support this admin. They don’t like him, claim not to be racist, but they don’t see anything wrong. They ignore the most distasteful parts.

San Quentin prison is right there, and costs $438,000,000 annually to run. Alcatraz is a National Park and brings in $60M annually. So we could close down the place making money and spend half a bill to open a second prison that is literally across the bay from one already there.
